I'm having a little trouble wiring up my trans contoller on my 1990 E4OD. Which wires do I need to tap into? According to the instructions it is the blue/yellow and the one to the right of it, but on my plug that spot has no wire. Below is a diagram of the plug that goes into the divers side of the tranny.
What kind of shift controller is it you are installing, if you check out the B&M Electronic shift thread, you will find that several of us have found different wire colors depending on the year of the truck.
I've actually been following that thread pretty closely, but none of the wire color suggestions match my plug exactly. I now know that it should be pin 35 & 38 no matter what color the wires are.
Does any one have a breakdown of what pin numbers are in what location on the plug?
BTW: Its the Superior PressureRiser, I got it here.

On my 93, with the EEC-IV PCM pin 35 on the diesel is Electronic pressure power, pin 38 is the pressure control wire. I can't seem to figure out how to copy from my CD but if I figure it out I will repost. Good luck
The pin numers are located on the connector on the PCM plug, remove the cover and unscrew the connector at the 10mm bolt to remove connector from the PCM, the plug rows are numbered on the connector 1-20, 21-40, 41-60, so you can locate the right wire. I spliced mine in just out of the PCM connector, The B&M drawings show the connector for wiring into the transmission end as at pin #11 for the pressure control, pin 12 for the power, should be the plug located on the aft passanger side of the transmission.
