what are you looking to identify? i mean a 9 inch has a front load carrier, meaning it installs from the front of the vehicle versus the rear for most other rearends. the center housing that actually holds the gear cluster is oblong in a horizontal plane rather than round. to my knowledge the only rearends similiar are a mopar 8 3/4, which is a very round center section , an old oldsmobile from the 50's again very round and a ford 8 inch, which once again is very round . if you are looking for something else sorry , if this is what you want, welcome and good luck.
