Well it's happened. I sold my '01 F250 PSD yesterday. The guy that wanted to buy it 2 years ago saw me and saw I had it for sale, bought it. He said nothing about the miles (187,000) and can't wait to get his hands on it.
That leaves me with the '05 which I hope to have and enjoy 'til I'm older and grayer. That '01 was by far, the best vehicle I have ever owned, bar none.

Good deal and hope you're as happy with the 05. So looking back on all 187k miles you put on the 7.3, would you mind giving a little run down of your mechanical experience with it?
Gladly. I had the injector harness under the valve cover on passenger side come undone 2 times. I remedied that myself with some waxed rayon cord securing the plug to the socket. This was at 70,000. Never happened again. Cost me just the time and experience. Had to have CPS replaced at 86,000 (warranty). No charge. Replaced front ball joints, tie-rod ends, draglink and front shocks at 107,000 (OEM), front rotors at 112,000, used after market brand. Didn't work out well. Had them turned, still didn't work out, so I got OEMs and replaced them at 175,000. All in all, the out of pocket cost of maintenance other than oil, filters, lube, etc., was $1250. Really nothing major at all with the engine, but the suspension and brakes were beat to death by these KY roads.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share. I hope I have the same experience as you.
