starter is out!

does anyone happen to know where the best place to find a reliable starter?
any help is appreciated and thanks in advanced!!

Also found one on ebay from diesel care and performance for 77+shipping but I have never done buisness with them so kinda weary buyin from them. Has anyone done buisness with this place?

I get my starters from NAPA. I have had good service out of all of them.

I picked-up a new starter on eBay, the seller was DB Electrical. Much more torque than my original, great price, no core charge, easy to replace.

well I am finishing this thread I started.......I found one on ebay, got it and installed it no-good failed the bench test 5 times. This starter was purchased from arrow head electronics, called them and they are refunding my money wich is really great service on their part! The next day went to napa and got a reman for $195 so the truck is running and starting alot smoother and faster than before. Thnks for all your help guys!

Yea ill 2nd the NAPA starters i got one there for my IDI and they had it in stock, great starters spins good, strong, and fast.

Unless you are looking for high performance stuff, napa is the best place. right part first time. better quality than the junk the unknowledgeables give you at autozone. never had a problem from service or products from napa.
