Engine Light On

BAUGHT A NICE USED 2005 150, RAN IT OUT OF GAS NOW ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. IS THERE A RESET BUTTON FOR THIS ? tHE TRUCK DIDNT COME WITH A OWNERS MANUAL

you need a obd 11 code reader to reset the light yourself or take it to a garage and they will reset it. either way it will cost you if you buy the tool you can do it yourself anytime.

If they have the correct reader, an auto parts store will usually read/reset it for free in the hopes of selling you some parts.
