Exhaust question
My dual tail pipes were corroded and full of holes, and broken off at the end so I removed them. One of them I cut off at the entrance to the rear of the muffler and the other came right out of the muffler (about 6" was inside the muffler). Now it sounds like I have brand new exhaust with the low throaty sound like you get with flowmaster. I love the new sound but don't want to die from exhaust fumes. Would it be super stupid to leave it that way until I can afford new exhaust or should I pick up some new tailpipes and sacrifice the new sound to stay alive. I haven't noticed the smell of exhaust but I live in south TX and my air conditioning isn't working so I always drive with my windows down to keep from sweating to death. The pipes were full of holes so I don't think that removing them would make that much difference but I just want to be sure. Thanks in advance.
