help with bearings
I just put new rotors on my bronco and now Comes the install. I have a 93 Bronco How do you install the nuts? there is a pin does this pin points out? It would seam as though it would. do you torque the the inner nut or do you tighten it snug. any help would be great.

every time i've done bearings it's tighten them until snug and then back them off a half turn or so. (make sure the hub has no play) then put the cotter pin through the threaded part of the spindle and through the nut cap. (I belive this might be for non-4x4 trucks but..) hope this helps.

Sorry I didn't write back to your other post a while back. I take it you got the rotor and abs thing figgered out. When I did mine I just got the whole assembly (with the abs and hub already put together) As far as the bearings go-the one with the pin goes nearest the bearing with the pin facing outward. Tighten down, then back off about 1/4 turn Then there should be a ring with a bunch of holes in it that goes on next. Make sure that the pin lines up with one of the holes. Then your other lock collar goes on, and the rest of the hub parts. Hope this helps. When I redid my rotors I had to put new bearings in. The guy that owned it last had done it, but when I pulled it apart it looked like he hadn't packed them right cuz there was hardly any grease in it, and also the passenger side had that pin sheared off the collar and the retaining ring was broke in half so I had to change all that too.
