We are looking ta get 12 ta 16 inches on top of the 4 feet we already got. And I get ta travel to Anchorage and back in this stuff. The hundred mile from town ta home after neck surgery will be the bad part. Gotta drive myself. Hope old Rusty don't take a crap on me. Won't be nobody on the road but me. And the fresh snow.
Very little coming down on us at the moment, quite fine and sticky like icing surgar. It won`t amount to much unless it picks up, just enough to become slippery later tonite and tomorrow after it gets packed down.
That`s a good hike (hundred mile from town to home) after neck surgery, be carefull on the drive by yourself. Hope old Rusty keeps on a ticking for you. Maybe grab a nurse for the long drive, tell her it`s for saftey reasons......
we got about a foot last night and it's still slowly coming down. The drive home yesterday morning was interesting. The plows had been on the primary hyways, but the secondaries and the gravel were all untouched. The little Nissan had snow up over the hood and everything for the last 20 min. of my drive home. Still did the job though.
Hey there yblock, neck surgery???
We got 18 inches last night and another 10 predicted today. And we wont see a plow or grader for days. So unless I fly outta here (and Ain't nothing flying) I wont make it to Anchorage for neck surgery. Think I will chain up old Rusty and go play a bit though.
Ya Preppy. The local grader has been out two days in a row. That's rare. Roads are possible now. It's the trip home on the 9th or 10th that has me worried. Rain on ice. Ya know what that is like. New studs or not When ya loose it she be gone.
If you are looking for wranglers, they usually have quite a few of them on display on Thursday nights at The Longbranch - various sizes for each individual application!!
Did you know that Goodyear also calls some of their tires 'wranglers'????
I was just reading through the thread, and thought you were talking about Goodyear wranglers. I'm wondering what you guys might be talking about. I've never heard of any other wranglers.
