broke glowplug

Exclamation broke glowplug

One of my glowplugs in my 88 f250 7.3 could not be removed but i tried and only was able to strip threads and cap of electrode now electrode exposed and still stuck in socket lots of carbon too. what can i do? any ideas anyone.

you can try using an electric drill and penetrating oil. chuck the glow plug into the drill, and spin it slowly. spray liberally with oil, and try pulling it up while spinning. this should shave enough of the swollen tip off to get the plug out.
