WEll guys the good guys won one for once...wewwww that was a tongue twister. I got my gauges fixed. The shop mounted the power moduls to the firewall, the lights are wired to the headlights and dimmerswitch. As far as the gauges themselfs go i'm not real crazy about it but i can live with it. It seems they tried but ended up just using a gastic to cover up the rest of the gauge they could'nt "fit" into the pod. Over all its fixed thanks yall for the support.

Not the best picture but you'll get the idea of what the gasket is.

They mounted the power moduls.

OH! "Gasket" It was a typo! That explains it. Coll enough

RU happy with it? I'm a bit more exacting on stuff. I don't intend to let anyone put my gauges in. It'll be me and my son doing the work. By the grace of the God, we have a chance of it!
Peaceful day's!

Not at all. I'am pretty picky myself but giving the nature of this sitution i decided to let this ride. I was nice but firm with this shop to begin with to get the fixes that i got. I got the spill about there was no good place to mount the power moduals, and that the lights being wired with the headlights was not standard and could'nt be wired withthe dimmer switch. But i got it done. The gasket is 3/16" tops thick so i can live with it. I would hate to push my luck and they really mess something up.

I'm glad they made it better and hope this isn't too expensive of a lesson for them in lost potential customers. A happy customer may tell a few friends but an UNHAPPY customer will tell everyone that will listen or go on a forum and tell .......1126 and counting.

I dont know how to measure someone else's losses but i do know he lost 3 jobs he had on the books. He told me about the customers backing out and none of them where getting gauges 1 was a turner and the other 2 where turbo upgrades. He did tell me that their reason was cause they saw my work and did'nt like what they seen. I told the shop owner that i had given him a chance to make this right and since he cant be 100% effect then i'll continue to pass that on. Most people dont like work being done that only finishes about 80% but cost 100% of the bill.
