Unhappy Problems with steering column.broken

Hello

I need help for either rebuilding the steering column or replacing the column.
This is in 1994 F350 super duty PSD no airbag no tilt no cruse
The truck is a std shift.
The steering has alot play and sticks when tuning left or right.
The power steering fluid is full and they are no leaks.
I was told there was bearings loose in the column but how do I checked
The column moves around inside the cab.

Thanks DON

Do you mean that when you move the steering wheel up and down or right to left the steering wheel moves without the column assembly moving? If so the small needle roller bearing at the top of the column probably needs replacing. You will need the steering wheel off for that. You may also have a problem with the universal joint in the steering shaft. You should see it in the engine bay. It may be tight or seizing up.
