Squeaking!!??

How do I get rid of the constant squeaking coming from my tailgate/rear window when I am driving?

New tailgate locks and latch,complete new weatherstripping for the rear of the vehicle. Are you sure the squeak is'nt coming from the spare tire mount, if it's the rear tailgate mount style?

I removed the spare tire and holder a while back thinking that that was the issue but I still got the squeaking. I appreciate the new advice about the weather stripping and the tailgate latch and locks though. I have purchased from LMC before, they are a great source. Thanks Again.

also, lubricate the tailgate pivots etc

I found when I used my hard top that if it was to tight it squeeked real bad.

It may be coming from the rear window. Check the "wheels" in the track they may be worn and making noise, also mine will make noise if the window is all the way up,sometimes I have hit the switch down to take the pressure off a little.
