Drove a 450 today

I drove an F450 today when I drove my 350 in for an oil change. I loved how fast it started up, and how smooth the ride was. The truck had the lariat pkg with the nav system wich was pretty cool. I dont think I would ever use the nav, but the leather was nice. The power was there, but with it being a new motor, I didnt want to romp on it. The thing that surprised me the most was the price. This truck had everything on it, plus more, and the truck was only 57,000. I know thats a lot of money, but it wasent much more then what I payed for my dually in 05. The only reason I bring the price up is there was a lot of talk that these trucks were going to be super over priced, but they seem reasonable.

Oh and one more thing, I read that the engine warranty had been reduced to 60,000 miles. did i read this wrong or is it so. I think that will be pretty lame if it has been reduced.

it seems to be the concensus from others discussions on the warranty, that the powertrain warranty as a whole is at 5/60. Whereas, the engine itself is still at 5/100.

Oh, well if that be the case, Ford stepped it up a lot. That makes me feel better about the 6.4.

I think that actually means you get less warranty. it used to be 3/36 for bumper to bumper, and still will be. used to be 5/100 for powertrain and motor, now 5/60 for powertrain and 5/100 for motor.

I think this is what he said right?
