Pulling season is just around the corner. We are still looking for sponsors for 07. Setting in 10th place a bad finish at Shelbyville and broke at Cynthiana put us in 13th place for 06. This is the highest finish for a Ford in DHRA Street. With a 5th at Reedsville WV and a 6th at Stoneboro PA this puts us as the highest event finish ever for a Ford in Street. In 05 Brian Bunting had a 10th place finish. For the USA East we finished 5th as the high Ford.
Take a look around the web site, there are several links to pics and videos. In addition to the pulls listed we are planing to attend Indy and Merchants on 6/23 if they get the sled pull added to the event. Help us put a Ford out front.
That is amazing, you do so well. He has a fully built engine, and you still manage to outpull him. Must be that 6-speed! Still running hybrid 530's and the K31 with stock HPOP?
Sounds great! I look forward to seeing you at any OH KY IN pulls. We go every chance I can take off work. Would love to see that 444 cu in 7.3 stand loud and proud this year! We need/deserve the recognition!
Any new sponsors?? Didn't you have someone from FL going to help??
Brian is in Super Street since last year. The Florida deal is a local guy that is down there for the winter. Maybe if the weather ever breaks he'll be back. I hope that groundhog got it right.
That's great Kevin. Your son still involved with you in it?
Yep he still loves it. He's been asking for a month when the first pull is and where we'll be going to this year. It's great to have him with me and know he really enjoys it.
I saw the video again on your website there of him cheerleading you on the pull-off and the obvious dissapointment when you didn't make a full pull.
Kids are great fun to watch.
Have a great time this year.
Thanks Kwik thats probably my favorite. He understands we are out powered by many but can hold our own. Wins at the local pulls are enough to keep us looking for more.

Just so were all on the same page, Kevin has never outpulled me. For the record, no Ford has ever outpulled me in DHRA Street.
My tenth was in 2005 at Scheid's(considered the best hook in the USA) in a field of 81 trucks-the only Ford in the top 25-Kevin was 44th in 2006-again, no Ford made finals. I also had a 9th, and 8th place in my three DHRA Street events. LINK
Kevin pulls very well for what he has, and I'm sure he'll be back close to the top in 2007, which is why I wanted to help him.
Please excuse me, sorry for my ignorance. I forgot to realize that you two are in two different classes, of course you wouldn't pull in a street class, you are much farther than that. I wasnt trying to diss your truck at all, because it happens to be my favorite 7.3 pulling truck out there. I was just suprised at how Kevin worded the statements, it made me believe that he competed against you and won.
