I was thinking about putting a cowl induction hood, or a mach 1 style hood on my old 92 F250. I would like to find a steel one for under $500. Does anyone have a suggestions on where to get one.
Thanks,
Mark
i thought the same thing at one time and dont really remember if i found a steel hood or not.....i know of fiberglass hoods and if a hood is what you are looking for maybe you will have to settle for a fiberglass one? here are some sites to take a look at
I always get an edition of the magazine "Truckin' " every month they always have loads of places that have custom stuff and i look around for stuff for our year F-150's just to get an idea for when i actually get the money to start buyin some of this stuff. since it is so hard to find this always helps out a good bit...hope this helps some...
Try harwood I don't know if they make them in steel ? I never had any problems with the fiberglass hoods I have got from them. fit great. 1 on a 86 monte was hit in front end and hood survived. 1 on a 97 Camaro and stange as well as one on a 95 F150. Well good luck on search keep posted because you are 4 guy in last cuople months that have asked. Just avoid the stick on scoops they look cheep .
