I was on the fence inbetween the AFE and tymar. I love my AFE stage II but it is spendy.... The tymar is cheap and gets real close to the same performance....but the AFE pg7 filter is great....

good luck,
Steven

I don't see a need to run any of those filters. I would run the Napa 6673 or the AIS. I like the stats on the AFE 7 filter but two much money.

I agree with Hoseman. Id like to see the 6637 added to that poll. Its not about how much $$ a part costs, its how well does it work and how many people trust it.

im with hosemandc
i have AIS and i love it, and will see after injector and turbo upgrade what will happen, than for more air ill get 6637 and for protection ill stick with AIS

AIS should be on the list for those who look for protection and quiet operation

You left out AIS. AFE would be nice but very expensive.

For those wanting the 6637, vote on the Tymar. Its the same filter but the "tymar kit" includes a 45* intake pipe and a silicone coupler.

Kris is right, the 6637 mod is how its refered to on FTE. On the TDS forum its called the Tymar mod, that does not mean that you bought the specific Tymar Kit off E-bay, but that you are running a 6637 filter.

tymar/6637 here

I have both a 6637/tymar and AIS, the 6637 is fun for hot rodding around town, the AIS is great when towing long distances, less whine in the cab which after a while is really annoying to me.
