long road trip prep?
Hi all, I plan to take my truck (01 F250 stock 7.3l psd) From Detroit MI. area to Key Largo FL. in a month. What should I do/bring to ensure a trouble free trip? I've had the truck for 17 days and want to run through anything that could slow me down.
I just got a CPS spare from ebay, putting in a GPR later today (thanks to ford dealer for after sale support - NOT). I plan to do oil change and all filters.
Do I need to be concerned with fuel going from cold to warm temps and back?
Any spare parts or tools I should consider?

This pretty much what I carry in my truck, CPS, GPR, serpenitne belt, oil, desiel kleen, anti-freeze, UVC clips, tools, wire, spices, WD40, blanket, flash light and anything else that I might need when I haul my jeep into the back woods.

Now how did you guess that?? LoL. I have haul my jeep via trailer down to Utah, Nevada and lets just say I have learned from what I did not have on the road and off the road! It is true tho, we do take our own spices, food and the kitchen sink when we go 4 wheeling extend stays!!
