Coolant Leak Help

I've just noticed a coolant leak that is dripping slowly between the oil pan and the transmission pan( I think its the inspectin plate). It appears to be coming from the passenger side and getting on the starter and going from there.I just bought the van 3000 miles ago and was wondering if it is possible that it could be coming from the new hose I found in the van (napa part #8945). I am hoping the previous owner had diagnosed this leak properly and it is only that hose. Seeing that the new hose was in the back of the van makes me think that it was never done because its a B@#$% to get to , or its something else that is serious. What do you think? Also I noticed that the drivers side of the engine is louder than the passenger side.Is this normal. I need this van for work and am short on $ due to just buying it.If its something major I'm done. Please Help.

After researching on this site I came to the conclusion that it is probably fuel pump. It was hard to tell in the dark driveway but I do notice diesel smell on my hands so I'll have to check out the fuel pump.

Find a friend or someone who has a pressure tester for the coolant system. Pressurize the system to see where the leak is coming from. If it is the hose, then you're stuck with changing it. The other possible place could be the intake manifold gasket leaking at the back of the intake. Had the same problem with my old Lincoln. Not a fun job there either. Good luck, hopes this helps you.
