am having trouble with a grand marquis 1999 4.6 the snap on computer says the fuel is lean in both banks. check engine light is on and it wont pass emissions. i have already replaced the intake which was leaking, gave it a tune up and replaced one bad coil. also replaced the mass air flow and both the upstream o2 sensors. the air cleaner is new also. any help would be greatly appreciated. this car runs great. there is something i am missing eeeech....... thanks

Have you checked all the vacuum lines? IF anything go over to crownvic.net they are THE site for the panthers.

Check the PCV hoses. I have seen them get soft and leak vacuum.

Make sure the fuel pressure is up to snuff. Also, check the fuel regulator works.

Lean codes can come from too much air, OR not enough fuel.

Might just need a fuel filter.
