I currently have a 99 F250 SD PSD LB SRW 4X4 Offroad and have installed a Reese Titan Class 5 hitch with the 2 1/2 " receiver. I have ordered an 08 F250 SD FX4 PSD CC LB SRW which comes with the 2" receiver. My current Reese hitch is compatible up through the 07 F250/350 SD.
Does anyone know if I can replace the OEM receiver with my Reese Titan. I run a Lance camper and need the 2 1/2" receiver for the hitch extension tube under the camper overhang.
Geostorm and Strut - Thanks for the info. The Reese Titan did in fact fit the 08 F250. Only issue is the 18" spare tire sits right against the back of the receiver. The part of the receiver that goes from side to side is straight whereas the OEM has a curve to it. This curve gives about a 2 inch gap between it and the spare tire.
The bolt holes for the Reese match perfectly as they did with my 99 so no drilling was required.
