I was just so happy that my truck was finally running right. Starting right and I was real happy with my service department. I ordered a new muffler delete because I trusted the truck enough to keep it again. Then what happens tonight...went to start up on the way to work and it would only turn over....won't start at all. Haven't had a chance to check for codes or anything but here we go....The dealership that works on it will not be able to supply a loaner car due to the fact that I didn't buy the truck there so I have to pay for a rental. Ford supposedly doesn't reimberse enough for loaners..... So do I go to the old dealership that will give me a loaner and hope it's something simple or do I tow it an extra 45 minutes and pay for a rental???? Oh man and the Wife is real thrilled too!!1 I love my truck but it's really starting to push it's limits....
I've had other dealers, whom I didn't purchase my truck from give me a rental but only until the 3/36 warranty was up. After that they haven't given me one. But your promblem does seem like it may be a simple one. Good luck.

I guess I need to decide which dealership to have towed to. Are these simple fixes or will it be a while? If not to much of a fix I will send to the closer dealership. It should be easy for them to handle. But if this is more complex I will send it the long way. Maybe I should send it there anyway....gotta trust the Tech right? Sorry, thanks for listening!
If you don't want to have to fool with the dealership; it should only take you about 40 dollars over the 100 dollar deductable and about 10 minutes of your time to replace this part yourself. I've got the part number available if you were to decide to do it; it is a VERY easy part to replace.

Was the truck cold when this happened?
The truck had set in the garage overnight and I tried to strat the next afternoon. It had warmed up to the low 40's in the day. It had been really cold here last week so it was warm. But the truck hadn't run for 24 hours.
I am still under the full factory warranty so the dealership should be replacing it. I am waiting to hear from them. Will keep you all informed when I do.
