EGR start problems!?
Dealer tech says cold start issue may be due to EGR, wants me to reschedule when part arrives. Symptoms are truck dying 3-4 seconds after a cold start unless given additional throttle. 2nd start attempt immediately dies, 3rd crank usually will run but I know to give additional throttle by then. This only happens at below 35 degrees, otherwise truck runs like a top once warmed.

Tighten loose bolts? I am having a cold start issue too. Sometimes truck will start right up, other times it acts like a flooded gas motor. Normally happens below freezing but doesn't happen 100% of the time. I have been plugging it in now when it is cold but would like to fix it.
