Ok guys after reading 8 pages of searches in the 61-66 advanced search i cant find what I'm looking for. I need the wheel base center axle to center spindle for my 61 f100 unibody swb, its sitting in an odd position right now so I'm getting a bad measurement.
I would like to have this info asap, as I plan to start the camaro clip (oh the blasphemy) transformation this weekend.
Thanks in advance guys. PS if anyone has any tips or tricks please do tell (as long as the tip is to not use the camaro clip).

The wheelbase is measured from the center of the front hub/drum to the center of the rear hub/drum. O----------------------------O
So, what you are asking for does not refer to the wheelbase.

ok kewl, I was close. The thing is sitting partially on a hill on one side. So, drivers side I got 114 1/2 and pass side I got 114. I hope once I get it in the shop and I get the tape back on it I will get 114 out of both sides.
One tip is to pay attention to the frame diamentions. Before you chop off the front to graft on the camaro clip, measure your frame to make sure it isn't bent or twisted. Straightening a frame is a lot easier if it is in one piece. Your frame should be almost a perfect rectangle and level in the same spots. Measure diagonally from end to end and between the crossmembers. Write the known measurements with centerlines on the floor with paint pen or sharpy marker. The use of a plumb bob will come in handy to make sure you aren't cockeyed when the new clip goes on. I've seen a few hacked frames roll into a body shop for straightening after the fact. Add a few tack welded braces as well to keep the frame from shifting too much during the installation process. When you think you got it measure it all twice before you weld it all together. Its easier to grind a tack weld off then a full weld.
Whiz Check out my Gallery I've included some pictures of my $^%&%$^ Graph. If I can help out with any measurments let me know. You can see how they set this front clip. It aligins well and drives well, this is a rear steer clip. I'm working this week so I may have extended delays in returning info. Depends on what calls in let me know if I can Help.
Thanks for the pics. Williston eh? I lived in Minot for 3 years thanks to uncle scam, would love to come back on vacation and go do some walleye fishing again.
I just posted a couple of pics of my 63 that has a C----- clip in it so you can see it with the fenders on. It is a lot of work but a cheap easy way to get independent front suspension and power steering. I am doing final fitting and body touchups on the cab forward to get ready to paint. I powdercoated the frame and prts to make it look good. I will have 4wheel discs, P/W, PDL, Vintage air and Dakota Digital gauges when done
