First '08 wreck...

First '08 wreck...

There's been an '08 puttering around here the last week or so...brand new obviously, red, diesel, crew cab. Real nice looking truck, owned by an older fellow.

Just came back from washing my truck...it was sitting at the side of an intersection. Got broadsided by a blue Honda.

The good news: the truck owned the car...totally. The bottom of both passenger doors was smashed in pretty good, it seemed that the running bar took the majority of the hit. The front of the Honda was absolutely smashed. The driver of the truck was standing next to it, so obviously it did it's job and took the hit for him.

So...+1 to the '08 F-350 for strength! Sorry guys, no pictures, I was driving by and trying to check everything out without stopping.

Anyways...so it made it a week without an accident...

yeah i felt the same way but i went back and i felt just as much when i got my 06 and ill feel the same when the 2010 come out and the 2020!!!....its a neverending cycle to get us further in debt...but i guess its a neccisary evil for us SD owners...i wont feel that gat feeling of owning a 08+ body style for at least 4 years

lol, I got one for ya. I had just purchased my 05 250 (It was the first few days they were out, I bought the first 05 that my dealership had sold) I was in phoenix Az visiting a friend when a guy ran a red light and smashed into my truck. He hit me behind the rear tire while I was going into a driveway...and get this...to a Dodge dealership. It was my buddies work and he was picking up his pay check. I was devestated, but the worst part of it was driving home to Ca with my brand new busted up Duty. The Cop who showed up at the scene got my official statement then he started BS ing with me about my truck, lol.

Man you gotta feel bad for the guy. That just sucks. You know he had been waiting for months to get it and now its been hit and he wont have it back awhile. Ugh, I cant imagine.
