2002 EB Entertainment system Gremlins
Hello All!
I've got a problem with my 2002. The CD Player has power--can put in and eject cassette. But Display on radio shows CD NO DJ. I also have a 2001 XLT--so I used it to cannibalize the CD player out of the 2002--and the CD player worked fine. So the CD player itself is fine. After further investigation, the VCR doesn't play, (the screen is blank, but the unit itself has power and seems to function OK) and the rear seat controls do not function. With my radio, you are supposed to be able to hit the 3 and 5 buttons to enable rear seat radio control. When I do this, it doesn't enable like it should. I checked all fuses, wires. I disconnected the battery to try to reset. No luck. Is this a radio problem, wiring problem, or should I just shoot the darn thing. Basic radio works OK.

Update to audio/video problem
Hello all
I got the VCR and video to work--knucklehead switch error.
But still have the CD NODJ fault displayed on Radio.
CD player powers up fine. Ops checked good in other truck.
Does anybody know if the MACH system in 2003 EB with video entertainment system uses the JBL system with amplifier (if so, where is the amplifier located to check if wires are OK???) Could wires to amplifier be a problem (All sound from radio and Video System check out good,
Could this problem be wiring harness problem?? Wouldn't a wireproblem blow the fuse?
Has anybody had any problems with the radio itself failing to communicate with the CD player---and any suggestions/solutions.
