Old Y engine
I have a 1956 F600 ford truck that I need to indentfy the engine in it. I have owned this truck for many years and always assumed it was a 312. Where would I find the numbers on the block to tell what size engine this is. I looked near the oil filter but found nothing. The engine was replaced in this truck in the 60's and I have always thought we put a 312 in it back then. Tom
