So i get my AE tommorrow, it was my v-day present to myself(i love presents to myself they are always what ya want!!!!!!) Now my questions...
1. So my vibration is getting worse. I went to drive train specilalists, and they said that it sounds like my TC/Tranny, because i asked about balancing my driveshaft since it had a vibration issue. Like i have said before it starts at about 45 mph when the TC locks up and goes away at about 65+ and will also go away when i put my foot to floor. It only happens when the TC is locked up and my foot is on the pedal a little bit. How do you monitor trans slippage/TC slippage? I want to make sure before i bring it to the tranny shop that there is a problem.
2. How does the buzz test work? I want to buzz my injectors because i have theory that i want to confirm about the vibration as well.
Im sure ill have more questions later but thanks in advance.
1. There are 2 PID's in live data - Torque Convverter Commanded and Torque Converter Actuall. TCC is the RPM the PCM wants 1020 unlocked 0 locked and TCA is the Slippage RPM mine stays between 0 and 1 when locked and 1020 - engine rpm when unlocked.
2. Key on Engine Off initiate buzz and run to front of truck. Test will buzz all injectors and then 1 at a time listen for sound differences durring the buzzing, codes will also be returned at the end if any issues are found during the test.
