Foreign Object? Transmission Pan

Im having issues right now today for the first time my tranny is not wanting to go into 3rd from a start its fine and then out of 1st is ok and then out of 2nd the engine just revs and the truck goes nowhere unless I shift out of O.D. or shift into 2nd on the console..cant wait ot see what my wonderful dealer will say I have only 24000 miles on it lariat 05

Zeke, That is pretty close to what mine was doing. I could start off just fine thru 2nd, then it would shift straight to OD. The end result was a handful off metal chunks and shavings...Hope your problem turns out better...

Ive got a jerk for a dealer although mine is still under warranty 25,000 miles on it, but Ive had the vibration problem and all they tell me is I didnt rotate the tires enough times but I did rotate them just not through the dealer and they want to charge me 160.00 to road force balance them plus both lower ball joints went at 10,000 and they are considered a wear item not covered and the power steering pump went at 13000 but that was covered.. anyway im off to the dealer and hopefully they will honor the warranty or its lawyer time because the tranny is one thing Im not gonna pay for! I'll reply after I get it back and tell what it was.
