trottlebody spacers

I have a 2005 fx4,w/dual exhaust, k&n filter will I get any better trottle response out of a trottle body spacer?

They claim more power, and better mileage, but from what I've heard, they don't do a darn thing.

I've never wasted my money on(I mean used) one, but it suposedly doesn't help anything like the torrnado or fuel saver gimmics.

You are better off buying a steak dinner for 2, with a good bottle of wine. They are an absolute waste of $$ on a modern fuel injected truck. Don't ask me how I know....
