Stacks for 6.9
I have an 1985 f-350 wth the 6.9 diesel and a 4 speed manual. I want to put dual 4 inch stacks on my truck. My ideal setup is to have 4" straight-cut stacks with rain caps on them. What do i need to know about exhaust pipe diameter, backpressure, "Straight pipes", mufflers??? I'm looking to buy the exhaust tubing from Napa, then cutting it and installing elbows where they need to be...what else do i need to know before i start my "home-made stacks" project??? thanks in advance.
