Ford Credit interest rates on 08's??

FORD offered me the 5.9 for 60 months, but only with 20% down. Their rates suck in my opinion. I've never been asked to put that kind of money down on a vehicle. I went through my Credit Union and got 4.5 for 60 months, Nothing down+ TTL...
FORD also gave me a little grief about cashing out my EPS warranty even with me buying a new one.
I joined a Credit Union years ago and can just get on the phone and get pre-approved. It took a total of 45 minutes the other day from the first call till they faxed over the final paperwork. The fastest I've ever bought a vehicle. FORD took 3 hours to "Propose".

A lease is a good idea if you can wrap your brain around the idea of Never owning the vehicle. You are just paying a monthly "Service Fee" to use a vehicle. For business use it's sometimes worth the time.
One thing I never understood about leasing a truck for work is that they wouldn't allow for over 15K miles annually. I know most of our drivers put minimum of 20K a year on their vehicles. Seems like there would be a higher mileage yield for the Diesels.
I do know they beat the hell out of you on body damage. If you are a Velvet-*** like me this is never a problem because all of my driving is hwy. Some of these guys that are in construction or pipeline work hammer their trucks.
Our main "Parts" truck put 41K in just 7 months last year.

I posted this a while back, but what about F450 compared to the 350 and 250. The last 06 F450 were considered "commercial" and had higher interest rates. We bought a conversion 06 F350 (basically a lariet) and are paying around 8% for 60 months. If we were to get a F350 it would have been 0% for 60, or like 1.9% for 72. Only our bank or Ford Credit would do the commercial and ford credit was cheaper. The other lenders at this dealership wouldn't do a 450. Just curious. Maybe they changed the classification for the 450 with the new trim packages. Levi
