im planning a trip to paragon ap in pennsylvania in april with a buddy of mine, who unfortuneately drives a jeep. the only problem is you have to have three trucks in your group, or hire a tour guide for 200 bucks a day. i figured id post a thread to see if people were interested in getting a group together to go. we're going to leave here (eastern mass) on thursday april 12th and will hopefully be there that night. would anyone be interested in meeting us on friday the 13th and wheeling that weekend? we're going to stay until monday morning. pm me or reply if you're interested.
also, has anyone been there? if so, any good stories?
Me and user dubzilla might be up for it if we get our junk working by then. We just went and picked him up a '78 bronc today!
We'd be more likely to go to rausch creek though, since we've been before. What kind of truck are you running? we're both pretty much stock with 35/36 inch tires
Once and I blew up my rear.. but we stayed on the green trails because at the time dubzilla only had an explorer, you can see the thread about his new ride.
It was fun while it lasted, but we didn't get very far.
as of now the park is only open on the weekends...don't know how much time they have left there. What kind of trails ya looking to do? I'm a trail guide up there and would gladly lead a group around for the day. You only need 2 vehicles to go out on your own..used to be 3. I'll check the post from time to time and see what's going on with this.
