You lucky guy. At least you can get on FTE from your work computer. Where I work, I can't get past the opening page. As soon as I try to access the forums, the damned thing locks up.
You be carefull on your deployment. Well, that is if it is somewhere precarious. My hope and respect will accompany you and all of your comrades in your jouney for a safe return.
thank you sir, I appreciate that. We are, well I am really lucky I am only going to Kuwait... but I have done my combat deployments, and seen my share of the fighting...
You don't need to call me sir. I know that is the ethic you are taught in your profession, but in my eyes, me as well as all other citizen in this country should be referring to you as sir.
God speed my friend.
We've still got until the end of March to BS. I'll stop in from time to time, when I have a computer that works, to say hey. For now, the wife is ready to hit me with a frying pan if I don't get in there and eat the food she prepared for me tonight. After that, I'm sure she has other plans to occupy my time. Like honey due lists etc...
One thing you can do, (it you haven't already done it,) is to join the FTE folding team. There is a big thread about it. The FTE team number is 53449. Go to http://folding.stanford.edu It is a cancer research project using 'distributed computing' power of idle computing power. Go to the site and click on 'download' and select the package best for your computer. It really requires nothing from you after you set it up but there will be a little red icon in the lower right corner of your screen which you can click on to check the progress. Join up and help with cancer research.
