dash panel removal
Does any one know how to remove the square panel on the dash where the ESOF is mounted? Mine is blank but I'd like to bolt the holder for my snow plow controller to it. Does it just pry off? I tried using double sided tape to mount the holder but it only stuck a short time. Is there a really good tape around that would save me the trouble of taking out the panel? Thanks, John

Take the whole dash panel off and look at it from behind. Tilt your steering wheel all the way down and shift your truck into 1st gear. Grab the dash by the guages and pull toward yourself. Then work your way to the passenger side. You should be able to pull it out far enough to reach behind it and unhook the headlight switch, power point and whatever other switches are attached to it.
