2000 expedition eddie bauer with 4x4 5.4 engine and it has the tow package.. what is the difference between models with or without tow package??? anyways woud my truck be able to handle a plow ok?? isnt my truck the same as a 2000 f-150???? in the NADA it is listed as a 1/2 ton truck?

 

Not sure about the tow package but certainly your expedition can handle a plow. I've seen a few in Northern New York home of the lake effect snow belt.

 

i think it should be fine. It's pretty much a 1/2 ton pick up with a permenant cap.

 

You should look in your owners manual it says DO NOT PLOW SNOW with this truck.

 

You should be fine. Your expy is heavier than a f-150 supercrew 4x4 by about 500lbs so you should be plenty heavy enough to push the snow around.
