Has anyone used an Enos black box in wiring your F-1, F-100 etc. Or any brand. If you have and you mounted it under the dash, would like to know where under dash and how did you mount it. Any pictures? GUSSO
I'm not familiar with that unit. Many of us here have used the EZWire harness kit with good results and the price is hard to beat, I have hanging pedals and made a snap in mount to attach the fuseblock to the side of my pedal bracket so it was handy and I didn't have to drill any more holes in the firewall.
I did like AX, I used the EZ Wiring harness (the big 21 circuit one with the large fuse block) I didn't want to poke any holes in my firewall either so I made a bracket to attach to my hanging pedal assy. Nice and clean, easy access.
There's also plenty of room in the kick panel areas for mounting a smaller fuse block

In the gallerys I`ve looked at , I haven`t seen any pictures of fuse boxes. I`m sure others, beside myself, would be interested in seeing the different ways they could be mounted. By the way thanks all, for the info gathered so far. GUSSO
The back of my fuse block has two mounting bosses and a lock tab on it (obviously an OEM application unit EZ Wire uses) I cut a metal plate with two keyhole slots and a cutout for the locking tab. Drilled two holes and bolted it to the side of the pedal bracket. I just have to lift the tab and slide the block up to release it from the mount. Should I need to work on it, I can pull the whole block out from under the dash. These ol bones are getting too stiff to hang upside down under the dash for very long.
When I'm snapping pics of progress this weekend (I hope) I'll try and remember to snap a few of the fuse block area. I do have some pics of my hanging pedal assy from when I fabricated it but none from when I added the fuse block to it.
Thanks again fellas. Thinking about mounting it on a hinge below the glove box, secureing it somehow, then it could pivot down to work on it. Needs somemore thought on how to secure it in horizontal position however. Then again I`m open to other ideas. I`m looking forward to a photo, Bobby. And AXracer I like your idea to be able to lift or slide it completly out to work on it. Is this called brainstorming or what.
THANKS GUSSO
