1985 Ford transmission problem

I have a 1985 f-150 and I have a hard time shifting into second gear. I have a four speed tranny and when I push the clutch in it does not want to shift in to second when starting out or any other time but when I am moving it shifts into third and fourth gear. Then I will sit there and push my clutch in and when I go to release it it comes half way out and it sticks. Is it the clutch plate or is it the gears in the transmission.

My first guess would be the throwout bearing since it seems to stick halfway. Not engaging 2nd could be shifter fork problem or clutch plate wear, but most often its the TO bearing. Does your truck have the internal or external slave cylinder? Whats the fluid level like in your clutch master cylinder?

The fluid in the slave cylinder got really low. I dont know how long it will take to get the air out of the system.
