This is the start of a major wave of DPtuner. I have one and love it, just let other people elaborate on why everyone is switching from what they had, to a DPtuner they now have...
It is all in the programming. Most all the shelf stuff simply ups the line pressure and that is about it. The DP tuner stuff, Jody actually changes the trans table in the programming. It will hold third much longer and lock the TC sooner. If you really want to get into it, call and talk to Jody about it. I am like Chris already mentioned, very happy with the DP programming and would recommend it over Superchip Tuner, Superchip chip and Bullydog chips. I have run all of them, the DP stands far out in front. You will not be dissapointed with the DP programs.
I am spoiled using Baumann controllers on the earlier trans. I am specifically wanting to program in what gear and under what load the converter locks on the later models. But I don't want a box that does nothing more than that.
DP Tuner is a great tuner however it didnt help the shift point on my tranny. I was thinking it might have an electric probe that would hook up to my seat to shock me when ever I need to shift. Nope still can't shift worth a darn but wow do I have Power under the hood. GO DP
I went to the DP Tuner site. It was Friday, they were closed. They had a link to SCT, so I talked to them instead. SCT claims I can program their unit with a PC to make the trans do whatever I want. And of course they claim it is also the best engine programmer. We shall see.

I can rig you up something that when your needle red lines a light of about 50 billion watts will flash at you letting you know to shift.
