2 Barrel carb
OK. I notice many of y'all have holley 390 4 bbl carbs and ive been toying with the idea of doing some mods to my painfully stock '78 300 (none of this till i can get some money. Being a highschooler, that doesnt look like anytime soon.) Now i was wondering how a holley 350 cfm 2 bbl would do? i noticed its quite abit cheaper. i also want to keep it as economical as possible, would the 2 bbl be better than the 4? how much more gas would it take than the stock 1 bbl? and finnaly do they make an adapter for the stock intake manifold. i do want to change that too but without money that doesnt seem to be in the cards yet.

Holley makes a 500 CFM 2bbl 2300, it's pretty much direct replacement for the Motorcraft 2bbls 2100, 2150. If I was gonna go 2bbl I would go with that one. I don't know why people would want a 4bbl when they can get 500 CFM 2bbl, maybe the 4bbl manifold flows way better than the other manifolds. BTW I have no idea how a 300 1bbl works or what kind of intake it has I have a 94 351, and Jeep with an AMC 360, so I have no real clue, but I sure would like to have a 300 4x4.
