SGTHAWKUSMC, are you getting the Cooper STT's? I have these on my Jeep and they do pretty well on and off road but since owning these Toyo's, they don't even compare.
I'll be replacing them w/ these Toyo's next time. They are all that.
No. The STs or ST/Cs. The STTs are a little too aggresive for me. They are the mud tire. I wanted something that was close to the BFG All Terrain. Great on and off road. Sorry, but I couldn't stomach putting Toyos on my Ford. If I were going foreign I'd just by the BFGs. I have heard good things about them though.

Thanks.
Nevermind what the name sounds like, the tire is stamped "MADE IN USA" right on the sidewall. But hey, I understand. To each his own. Roll on brother!!
I hear what you're saying, but Toyota's are "Made in the USA" now too. BFGs are as well, but they're owned by Michelin a French company. I look at where the profits go as well as who is making them. It's not easy (actually usually impossible), but I try to buy things that are made in the USA and owned by an American company also. I know all the Economists etc are going to freak out, but it's a principle thing for me.
Hey Sarge, I understand where your coming from. At least your a man of your principle's. I can certainly respect that.
Anybody else been out playing in this stuff?? I'm like a kid man, I haven't seen snow in so long. Gettin off work shortly, got a fresh untouched field across the street to go play in. Me, an 06 Bowtie dually, and a 99 Bowtie 2500. I'm gonna bury em!! Go out and play boyz, have a little fun!!!

We got it in Illinois, too, and I was a little scared to venture out with two wheel drive, though I do have limited slip.
I thought the V10 may have too much torque for the snow and ice, but I really did not have much problem.
There were a couple of hills that were icy, and I went a little sideways, but with 180 pounds of sind over the rear axle, it did very well, I thought.
Never had an issue stopping, but the six shooter helped a lot there, letting me gear down ahead of time....my biggest fear was that some a$$ would run into me...ha

No doubt man, these people can't drive when it's sunny and dry. That's my biggest fear, the guy in the Camaro that just has to be out in it!! LOL
My fiance says " I worry about you when your out in this weather" I'm like honey I'm gonna be fine, I'm worried about somebody else tearing up my truck!!
That's what I was thinking yesterday when the idiot in the little popcorn popper went ripping by me in the frozen lane... couldn't call it a passing lane. I was doing 40 which was about 10 faster than I should really have been going. Brain surgeons... I remember getting back from SoCal in my Z28. First dusting and I could barely get out of my brother's driveway which was flat. It was parked every winter since. My '84 Z28 I had back in highschool on the other hand did alright... then again I liked fishtailing it everywhere
Man w/ all this ice, we couldn't even play. We had to give it hell in 4wd just to move around. No tail-wagging 2wd stuff at all. The Duramax dually got stuck . And can you believe he wouldn't let me pull him out??? He made the Chevy 2500 try first and he was able to get him out. He couldn't stand the thought of having a Ford pull his Bowtie out!!! Poor guys.....They're calling for rain and 45 degrees by the end of next week. It'll turn that field into a mudhole. We'll give her hell then!!!
