Question Do-it-yourself: Trans Oil Change???

Truck: 2005 F250 Diesel 4x4
I want to learn how to change the tranny oil myself. Where can I find good step by step instructions on doing a complete flush (including changing the filter, replacing gaskets, parts, etc...).
Please Help.

Yes, their is a link to the excellent write-up Bear Hunter did on flushing the torqshift transmission. I will say this, an assistant is a must, and the tranny has to be good and hot for it to work correctly, but it does work.

thats a good write up using the tranny pump to take the oil out..made me nerves for a min till i thought about it...being your adding 10qts of fresh oil to the pan(after you drained 7) before running the engine...then leting it pump the other 8 or 9 quarts out...

The tranny is also not under load, so the pressures are not as they are when in gear as well.
