Welcome, nice to meet you.
The search funtion won`t be available to you till around 25 posts. If you let us know what you need we`ll be able to help you out.
I agree its a bit odd, since in most cases we suggest to newbies that they try to search first and then ask questions if its something that hasn't been already answered (or answered well)
Why should I fill this forum up with questions that has alredy been asked by other users. I would certainly be upset to hear the same questions over and over. I`ve used this forum since Desember and the Search option has worked fine until a couple of days ago. And I have got a huge amount of information by using this forum. I have a 54 F-100 which im going to start on pretty soon, but i have yet to decide which IFS/IRS option to go for.
This Forum is Great as long as the Search works.

20 more to go
WOW, you are way to polite! Don't worry about filling the forum up with posts, thats what it is here for. I think that if you were to make a posting requesting info for IFS/IRS set ups for your 54 you will get tons of information from those that have done it, are thinking of doing it, want to do it, or just might have an opinion or experience with it.
Jump right in there and ask your questions. I know that it can get mighty frustrating trying to put on of these old trucks together, I can only imagine the difficulty it is when you live in Norway.
I alredy have a post on the Corvette IRS/IFS option.. but now im considering the JAG one and even the Thunderbird/Lincon IRS. It`s all down to the money.
I know that there has been considerable discussion lately on the JAG suspension, once you are able to search again you should be able to find tons of reading on the subject.
As for myself, I can't help you much, I kept the stock straight axle under my 49 and just tightened everything up with new bushings, rebuilt springs, etc.
Why should I fill this forum up with questions that has alredy been asked by other users.
Good for you new guy! I've always been a big fan of asking questions only after you've done enough research to ask educated questions, so good on ya! There used to be a fantastic article about all the IFS options. It was in the stickies at the top before someone decided it would be smart to make them harder to find... Maybe someone can help you find it...
have you thought about the MII IFS? alot of people have used them on the older trucks. That is what i am thinking of using
Yes i have but after spending many hours in this forum and using the Search (before it was blocked) i came to the conclusion that most of the MII IFS was too weak, and very expencive if i wanted someting that was good and looked great..
I have read through this many times great article, right now im looking for more info on which year Jag is the best for my truck, and also more pic`s on the Jag swap.
