Headlights

Does anyone know how to wire the headlights so that both the low beam and high beams come on when the switch is on high beam?

I've read were someone did this and ended up melting the composite headlight bucket because of too much heat. Dang if I can remember where though. You might be better off with a good set of fog lights.

Headlights

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Nov-02 AT 12:52 PM (EST)]Headlights are the R/Y wire going into the steering column. Low beams are the R/Bk coming out and hi are the LG/Bk. Just tie the R/Bk to the R/Y and you'll have normal low-beams, but when you switch to hi, you'll have all 4 filaments burning (like flash-to-pass).

But alanscott is right - it'll probably melt the housing and maybe overload the contacts in the main light switch.
