Fuel Pump/PCM relay identification

99 explorer. 4 ltr sohc. chiltons and haynes does not show the correct pic for my pwr distribution box, and therefore cant tell which one they are, since nothing is lableled. there is also another smaller distrbution box located below the right front head ....what do those relays power...again not shown in the manuals.

Look on the inside of the power distribution box cover. I think that will tell you which relay is which.

thanks for the link....fig 7 is the same diagram in the chiltons, but does not match mine. i'm really stumped on this one.

Since that manual over covers 91-99, any chance yours could be a 2000? Just a thought..

the pcm relay is number 4, it is a square relay.

fuel pump relay is number 5, and it is a rectangular relay.

email me and i will send you a pdf of the owners manual where this is covered.

i took the haynes back because it sucked and the chiltons iok for most things but i suggest getting the ford service cd or hard bound manual for your year.
