I love being single too. I've been plowing all morning, taking a 2 hour break, and then I'll be back at it through the night. Doesn't get much better than a quiet Valentine's day with the sweet sound of a diesel!
Our wives must be sisters. Can't ask for more than that. She thinks that Valentine's day is just another manufactured holiday put on by the flower companies and candy peddlers.
I did drop a grand on some diamond earrings last week for her birthday. So I didn't get off scot free. Either way our women are rare indeed.
Cheers.

Only plans we have are spending time with the 5 kids that are home, shoveling snow and enjoying quiet time. all plans are final. Unless work calls because someone needs heat. Almost missed dinner already.
Someone called (not a regular customer) as I was leaving the shop to go home. Thier furnace wasn't coming on. My boss puts me on the phone, because he couldn't understand them. Come to find out someone had put the thermostat in the off possition. I told them it would be $175.00 consultation fee. I could hear 2 loads drop in thier shorts. One from my boss and one from the customer. I told them I was kidding and have a happy V.D. day. The guy tells me he will definately use us for all his service needs, I guess sometimes a little levity pays off.
I got my wonderful wife a dozen roses & a shih tzu puppy. Actually she found the dog at the local rescue but I'm paying the fees. I know have a great wife & I don't mind telling the world about her
we will celebrate tomorrow more, i cooked a nice meal and such, we would go out for a drink and meal, but everything is jammed packed on days like this and we are not going to stand in line and wait like an idiot. besides, my wife says i make every day like valentines day.
I tell and show my wife everyday how much I love her. I don't need a day marked on the calendar to tell me to do this. Absolute love is rare. Linda is my life, my fantasy, and my rock. I'm the luckiest man alive.
