Rear End Noise
My 1995 F250 4x4 is making a noise in the rear when the tires spin on snow It sounds like a clanging noise almost like something is lose. It isn't slipping or anything as of yet. Any suggestions? mostly happens when the left rear wheel breaks loose.

Sounds like you have a tracloc or other posi type differential. I would start with checking the fluid level and possibly changeing it. Generally speaking if you jack up both rear wheels,put in neutral and spin one side, if the other spins the same direction there is a locker or posi. Dont forget to add the correct addative for the type of diff (friction modifier)
