Need Help!!

I have an '04 f150, I have blown the transmission(4r70w) twice in it now and now I'm pursuing changing the transmission completely. When I broke the rear drive shaft I'm sure ya'll saw the thread, it also cracked the bellhousing on the transmission to the point where tig welding isn't and option. I've heard of this happening because of the weight of the STaK box but it is heavily braced front and rear, it's not moving. What exactly is linked in the computer system between the engine and transmission? Would a new transmission controller allow me to change the transmission or would their be some disagreement in the computer system between the engine and transmission? Is their a new efi computer, pcm, for the new modular 5.4L. What other transmissions would bolt directly to my motor, what adapter plates are avaliable? Can they be custom made by someone? Ideal situation is a get a new computer for the engine and transmission to eliminate all these issues I keep having with the computer, drop in an allison 6 speed, get STaK to make me an adapter and be on my mary way, I know it isn't going to be that simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-don't factor in transfercase or the driveshafts fitting
