My passenger side rear is missing a slat, which in turn, I think, wore out my PS front coil spring. Knowing this, I am going to replace both rears and both fronts.
Now the question is, I was looking through LMC Truck cat. and they have front coil spring STD and HD. The only thing is I can not find any specs on the springs to tell me if it would be worth order the HD set. They are the same price. I also do run with a plow on it. Does any know the specs or should just order the HD just because I have a plow on it?
Heavy duty springs have higher weight rate and handle weight better.. I us coil springs off F350 2x4 dually. I have found that they handle better than hd springs . I don't know rate ratings of any of them Other than hd coils are heavy half (haul 1 ton +), and the F350 is A 1 ton (which we haul 3 tons on) . I sorry I didn't if answer your question.
