Hey guys and gals. If any of you are planning on going to the Johnny Rocket's in Newport, KY on The Levee, don't bother. Their service sucks! They automaticlly add 18% gratuity to your bill. I don't know about you guys, but I reserve tips greater than 15% for exceptional service, not sub-par. When I recieved my cheese fries, they were cold. On top of that, the "server" tried to charge me for vanilla syrup in my Coke which I neither got nor ordered. Had I been in control of my tip, I would have tipped much less. I am telling everyone I know to not eat there. I have been to the location in Opry Mills in Nashville, and it was a great experience. That is why we tried this one. Big mistake. Sorry, I just had to rant.

Whenever I see the gratuity included I automatically call the manager and have it removed. If they put up an argument I will push for the entire meal being comp'd. If they remove it then I usually tip according to service.
Also, after those types of experiences I will call the corporate offices and let them know my opinion as well.
