4x4 lighting trouble?

4x4 lighting trouble?
Just noticed within the past week that the light in the dash behind my 4x4 switch is only coming on if the truck is put into 4x4 and then back to 2wd any suggestions?

I think I'm having the same problem. It will go into 4x4 but when I switch to 2WD it is still in 4x4, light still on too. I might try a transfer case motor swap and see what happens. I've had to manually take it out of 4x4.
